About Southington
Southington sits between Hartford and Waterbury, right on I-84, with I-691 connecting to I-91. It includes the villages of Plantsville, Marion and Milldale.
The Farmington Canal Heritage Trail runs through town, Mount Southington has skiing in the winter, and the Apple Harvest Festival fills downtown every October.
Homes range from capes and raised ranches built in the 1950s through the 1980s to newer colonials in subdivisions, plus a good supply of condos, including 55-and-over communities.

In Southington, the subdivision matters as much as the house. Two similar colonials a mile apart can sell tens of thousands of dollars apart, so I price from the sales on your street and in your neighborhood first.
